The Church of St Mary the Virgin, Padbury

Bringing Christ to the Community and the Community to Christ

NEWS FROM ST MARY'S

.

As you know during COVID 19 the Church has had to be closed. We are working very hard to sort out reopening the church as and when we can.

We are planning to resume services with an open air service in Padbury on Sunday 9th May 2021. The next service will then be on Sunday 6th June, which as long as things open as they should be will be back in Church.

Revd Ros Roberts

Revd Ros Roberts is the Vicar of Padbury and

Rector of the Lenborough Benefice, which includes Adstock, Gawcott and Hillesden

She and her husband, Ken, live in Padbury

Again Jesus spoke to them, saying: 'I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life.'  John 8:12

When life seems difficult, when every thing seems dark and you feel anxious or alone Jesus will shine His light into your life.

You can light a candle online to pray for yourself, for a loved one or for a situation. Whatever is going on, make space to pray in your life. Follow the link below
